So much...

Wow, I can't believe it's been nearly a month since I've shared anything here....so much has happened, I think the only way to catch up is to share a spattering of pictures and experiences. Perhaps it's because we've come to feel more comfortable and at home here....experiences feel less novel and more normal....or maybe we've just been more busy now that we have friends to hang out with!

I was connected with a group of Social Work students last month and was able to join them as they spent several days with young people at one of the local community centers, playing games and inserting bits of teaching around dealing with difficult emotions, sexual health, and social constructs of masculinity/femininity....I felt fortunate to be able to join them, see them engage and get to spend time with the kids there. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera with me on these days so the experience is only captured in my brain.

We've had play dates, celebrated birthdays with friends, moved to a new house, had a visit from our friend Jill from Seattle, looked in volcanoes, walked in Holy Week processions and exchanged Easter traditions. So much fun!

Here are a few fun photos from the past month!
